This is a very rare bear for still photo sessions, Muppet “Photo" Puppets with wire armatures for posing instead of hand openings. Master Replicas / The Monster Company is proud to present "Fozzie Bear” in his first-ever appearance as an authentic “Photo" Puppet replica. Created using the original patterns and similar materials, Fozzie is ready to perform his woeful Stand Up Comedy routine. Fully pose able with mouth expression and full articulation in neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles and fingers. He comes with a hat (numbers two and three came with hats and this is number three of three ever made)!

Master Replicas had planned to release the Fozzie Bear photo puppet replica as its fourth official Muppet replica (Kermit, Gonzo and Animal being the previous three limited edition replicas). The design was based on the patterns and materials used by the Henson Muppet Workshop to produce the official photo puppet. Three prototypes were built by Terry Angus and one of which was first previewed at San Diego Comic-Con in 2007 with the original release date scheduled of "Spring 2009”. However, due to low demand and orders and support for such a high-priced item, production of the Fozzie Muppet was put on hold and never released. Terry Angus is a Canadian puppeteer who played several characters on Fraggle Rock and background Muppets in other productions. He also worked on several of the Master Replicas Muppet photo puppets.

The Fozzie Bear Muppet measures approximately 40" high x 24" wide x 16" depth and comes with a Letter of Authenticity (L.O.A) from The Monster Company. Item comes in used / displayed condition without a box, there is an opening on his back from manufacture (this is not damage). This is an ultra rare item with an insurance value of £25,000.
