Universal Monsters / Famous Monsters of Filmland large original vintage 1960’s tubed Frankenstein door poster #1

The incredible vintage horror item you are viewing is an original large Frankenstein’s Monster door poster from circa 1960’s.

This is one poster of a few that survived a warehouse fire in Essex (circa 1990).

The example for sale will be of a very high standard but with some very minor faults.

The poster comes rolled in a tube and is approximately 6ft in height with a string hanger.

There is an extension to the poster to make up the full length, a cardboard strip attaches both segments together (our guess is production was unable to make such a long poster back in the 60's).

The images are photos of actual stock that will be shipped, this particular poster has some minor creases and a little edge wear from storage.

There are a few marks by the head where vintage toys were rolled in with the poster (please see images for condition, we are happy to send the images via email of this item prior to purchase).

Dimensions of the poster are a huge 182cms high by 69.5cms wide (a couple of inches under 6 feet tall).

P.S. The last image is of the old advertisement from Famous Monsters in the 60's advertising the sale of the poster.

N.B. The dark semi-circles in the images of the poster are weights used in the photography of this huge item to keep it flat.
